Question by : Are there any semi-experts out there who know what is going on with my health?? After a short while when…..?
…out walking, my legs go like jelly. There is no pain, but my balance is affected and I keep on stooping forward, like my knees cannot support me.
If I carry much weight, it is worse, and heat is also an enemy, as it gets worse on a hot day or after I’ve left the shower.
A while ago, I hurt my right knee, but BOTH of my legs go like jelly, unless the extra responsibility on my good leg is sending me off balance?
I am wondering if there are any illnesses/diseases whereby the legs can be affected?
I also have prostate problems.
Please don’t mention a doctor, as that is in process.
I am curious to the views of the General Public……..

It could be any number of problems from physiological to psychological. Semi-expert won’t cut it on this one – you need to see a doctor.

Well, people typically experience jelly legs after extensive exercise but you are clearly suffering after mild exertion.

If i was to guess the cause in your situation in terms of illness/diseasees it would either be early stage diabetes (low blood sugar), poor circulation or low blood pressure (poor oxygen delivery) or an issue with your lungs (poor blood oxygen).

You may just be anaemic though.

a few things might be going on:

are you over weight or obese – if so – then this is a symptom of ur legs not being able to support your present body weight.

Also, you might be deficient in calcium, iron and phosphorus – all of which are needed for strong bones. you could either take supplements or eat foods that are rich in these elements.

The prostate shouldn’t have any effect unless you are having shots to block testosterone, the side effects of one is bone pain. The dizziness could be an inner ear infection. Is the prostate treatment/diagnosis new or have they done bone scans?

ok this probably isnt a disease or anything, i think this is something to either do with your knees and the musscles around them… so either you pulled something and maybe hurt your knees. try taking magnesium pills for 2 weeks, once a day, with a lunch..

but truthfully there could be a number of factors to concider, and without visual inspection there are too many things that it could be. from what you explain it just is some knee problems which we would need to xray and see if there is anything wrong,

i have seen some people who just develop this and some cant be helped, their age can be a factor, if younger like below 22 then you could be growing too quickly and might have the bone on your knee just growing differently, creating pressure which builds and causes discomfort and pain, which also would reduce your ability to stand.

there are to many factors which you should go to a doctor and get him to look at them visually and get them xrayed to eliminate alot of possibilities
–but make sure if all else fails just go to a acupuncturist and get them to help, i seen these problems helped alot by them.

    hope you feel better!
